Andover Town Hall

Andover Town Hall is located near the central intersection of Andover's main business district, on the east side of Main Street (Massachusetts Route 28) between Park and Barnard Streets. It is a 2+1⁄2-story brick structure, with a front-facing gable roof and Romanesque Revival styling. Its main facade (facing west) is divided into three bays, each set in a panel with a round-arch top. The entrance is in the center bay, recessed within a round-arch opening and sheltered by a canopy with balcony.

Dunedin Town Hall

The Dunedin Town Hall, also known as the Dunedin Centre, is a municipal building in the city of Dunedin in New Zealand. It is located in the heart of the city extending from The Octagon, the central plaza, to Moray Place through a whole city block. It is the seat of the Dunedin City Council, providing its formal meeting chamber, as well as a large auditorium and a conference centre. The oldest part of the building has been called the only substantial Victorian town hall still in existence in New Zealand.

Malden Town Hall

The structure served as Malden's Town Hall (later City Hall) from 1857 until 1975. Designed by a Boston architect, it was the second brick building erected in the town. This prominent building, facing Malden Square, served as a focal point for community activity for many years. At different times it housed the local high school, the public library, the local police, and a series of dry goods stores in addition to town offices. The great hall on the second floor was used for town meetings and was rented out to local community and fraternal organizations.

Stawell Town Hall, Victoria, Australia

The Stawell Town Hall, 63-65 Main Street, Stawell, makes a significant architectural, visual and cultural contribution to the Stawell township. The main (front section) of the building was designed by the Stawell Shire Engineer, John D'Alton, in 1872, with the hall opening in 1873. The rear hall was opened in 1924, while a balcony was opened in 1927 and the landmark clock tower constructed in 1939.

Town Hall, Darjeeling

In 1875, the original Town Hall was situated at the present Gymkhana club. The Hall used to open between 6 am to 6 pm in the evening. For a certain period of time the Darjeeling Municipality was situated at the secretariat building which is now known as the Employment Exchange. Later on it again shifted to the motor stand where the Food and Supply Office is presently situated. In the year 1879, a desire floated among all people concerning that the Darjeeling Municipality should have its own buildings.

Town Hall, Kimberley

When a large number of people gather together a certain amount of organisation naturally occurs. In Kimberley’s case, it began with the formation of the Diggers’ Committees which grew into the Town Council. Naturally the Town Council must have a building in which to hold meetings and house the staff. So it was in Kimberley but the first town hall did not last very long. A fire in 1898 destroyed most of the building and the twenty years of records in it.

Replacing a smaller timber building constructed (In 1876) on a different site, the Maryborough City Hall was built in 1908 as the second Maryborough Town Hall.

Town Hall, Prahran, Victoria, Australia

Prahran Town Hall is a civic building located on the corner of Chapel Street and Greville Street in Prahran, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia.

After the amalgamation of the City of Prahran with the City of Malvern in 1994 to form the City of Stonnington, the Town Hall is now vacant.

Town Hall, Queenstown, South Africa

The historic town hall in Komani (Queenstown), which burned down a year ago, has still not been repaired. And police investigations into the fire have gone nowhere.

Built in 1882, the sandstone town hall is one of the historic heritage sites in the Eastern Cape. It used to house the Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality offices and meetings of the town council.
