Springfield and Columbus Railroad: Springfield to London
From 1849 to 1868, then sold to the Columbus, Springfield and Cincinnati. In 1869, leased to Cincinnati, Sanduisky and Cleveland Railroad Company.
November 1, 1890, all the titles were leased to the Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago and St. Louis Railway Company, and now operated by that Company.
CCC&StL or Erie RR: Dayton to Springfield
There is a problem with the USGS map of Dayton, Ohio but these two railroads either share a track or run very close to each other. Also, the plotted route through Greene County is not found on the map but the route continues on the Springfield quad. Both quads are from 1904.
Pittsburgh Cincinnati Chicago and St Louis (Cincinnati Div): Dayton to Columbus
This line is identified in the Historical Railroads Vanderbilt collection as the Dayton, Xenia and Belpre from Dayton to Xenia and the Columbus and Xenia from Xenia to Columbus.
Pennsylvania RR (Pittsburgh Ft Wayne and Chicago Div): Wooster to Salem.
Pennsylvania RR ( Pittsburgh Ft Wayne and Chicago Div): Crestline to Wooster
Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati RR: Columbus to Crestline
Philadelphia, Wilmington and Baltimore: Wilmington to Philadelphia
Philadelphia and Trenton: Trenton to Jersey City
This is actually the Camden and Amboy and the New Jersey Railroad lines.
