The Western Maryland Railway (reporting mark WM) was an American Class I railroad (1852–1983) which operated in Maryland, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
From 1849 to 1868, then sold to the Columbus, Springfield and Cincinnati. In 1869, leased to Cincinnati, Sanduisky and Cleveland Railroad Company.
November 1, 1890, all the titles were leased to the Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago and St. Louis Railway Company, and now operated by that Company.
