Hawaii Promotion Co. per Harry P. Wood wrote to Sam. “Your charming letter, acknowledging receipt of the Koa Mantel piece, came duly to hand.” He reminded Clemens of his request for a photograph, negatives and a couple of prints, showing Sam “standing or sitting near the Aloha Mantel” [MTP]. Note: the MTP has no such photograph, and no record was found that one was ever sent.
