Katherine Gregory wrote to Miss Lyon; this is miscatalogued as to Clemens [MTP].

Adelaide M. Lee (Mrs. Bruce B. Lee) wrote from Sacramento remembering Sam’s lectures in Sacramento and also her late husband’s lectures. She wished he would come to California for the National Irrigation Congress on Sept. 2-7 [MTP]. Note: Lyon wrote on the letter: “Answd. Aug 20, ‘07”

Guillot de Saix wrote to Sam. (Only the envelope survives; postmarked from the Ivory Coast, Africa) [MTP]. Note: Leon Guillot de Saix (1885-1964), French playwright and translator would have been 22 years of age.

Baron Ludwig Wattman, German author wrote on Belvedere House, NYC paper to ask, “when may I have the honor of seeing you? Please advise day, times and place” [MTP]. note: Ludwig Wattman Maëlcamp Beaulieu.

Elizabeth Westwood wrote to Miss Lyon; miscatalogued as to Clemens [MTP].

The ledger books of Chatto & Windus show that 5,000 final copies of More Tramps Abroad   (FE) were printed (totaling 30,000 to date).
