John Bigelow wrote from Highland Falls-on-Hudson to advise that though he was at an old age, he would be at the Educational Theatre with one of his daughters on the 19th, and please send the tickets to an address he furnished in Gramercy Park [MTP].
Perry Bliss for Atlantic Monthly, Boston wrote to give permission for Sam to read Miss Hert’s unpublished paper for the Children’s Theatre [MTP]. Note: he signed his name as “Bliss Perry,” so this may be miscatalogued.
John Japp wrote from Liverpool to “double his thanks” to Sam after reading the JA sent [MTP].
George C. Riggs sent a small notecard to Sam: “It is with great joy that I learn from Albert Paine of your willingness to meet a few of us at the Players on Wednesday Evening, November twentieth, at seven thirty. My dear lady’s heart is sorry that our good club is only given to men and envies me every moment I will have with you but, I tell her to keep a brave spirit. You may come here anon” [MTP].
